Laws
US Federal laws, contained in the United States Code, and regulations apply to all persons living in the US and US citizens living abroad.  Federal laws are limited in scope by the US Constitution.  www.usa.gov

Most US law relevant to the daily life of its residents, such as contract, tort and property, is found in the State Laws, which vary from state to state.  Each state’s laws can be found on the respective state websites.  For example  http://www.njleg.state.nj.us.

Most Indian laws are based on the Constitution of India, and are therefore Central Laws passed by the Central Government.  http://indiacode.nic.in/
